In the system there has been implemented a notifications system which is based on queuing the incoming events. Notifications’ main aim is to inform the administrator about any crucial errors that took place in the system. There are several levels of notifications distinguished:
- level 1 - notification with a low level of importance
- level 2 - notification with a normal level of importance
- level 3 - notification with a high level of importance, information is going to be sent to the administrator in an e-mail message
- level 4 - notification with a critical level of importance, information is going to be sent to the administrator in an e-mail message. At this moment some additional actions may take place, for example SMS message can be also sent to the administrator.
Notifications always have an appropriate status assigned: info, success or error. It quickly describes and ranks the event for the administrator. When you click on the specific notification, you will see extended information about it, you can also move directly to the entity which the notification is related to.
